Sojin Kim, DMD, is a passionate and experienced dentist serving patients at Aesthetic Smiles Dentistry in Shenandoah, Texas.

She was born and raised in South Korea, attended high school in Canada, then moved to the United States to attend pharmacy school at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island. There, she earned a six-year full scholarship.

Before obtaining a pharmacy degree, Dr. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in biology in only two years. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was the youngest to graduate from her class.

Patient comfort and satisfaction are of great importance to her. She can safely administer nitrous and oral sedation for patients with dental anxiety. Dr. Kim is certified in sedation, dental laser, Invisalign, Botox®, dermal filler injection, and even microblading. She can help you create a beautiful smile and overall esthetics.

Dr. Kim is an active learner and keeps herself updated with the latest techniques through continuing education and seminars. She is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
